Premium Spa Face Steamer

The Benefits of a Face Steamer are unbelievable. When I was younger (around 16 to 24), I used a face steamer a few times a week. Knowing what I know now at 42, I wished I would have kept using the face steamer. There are so many benefits to using a face steamer. A facial steamer makes your skincare routine more effective. Think of giving yourself the spa treatment at least once a week as the foundation for building great skin. Really, that is exactly what it is. Before you apply anything to your clean, your pores need to be cleaned out.

A facial steamer is a device which uses warm steam to cleanse your pores. When used on a regular basis this can prevent acne while also helping to cure it. I began suffering from acne in my later years. It is then I began thinking more about ways to improve my skin. I use different techniques to improve the skin and this is one of them. This premium face steamer makes it easier for extractions and removing blackheads and dirt. The soothing steam opens pores help remove dirt, nasty bacteria, and makeup residue. One of the best-known ways to cleanse the facial skin pores is by using a spa facial treatment on your face. It is not recommended for you to steam your face each day if you are acne prone because this can dry your face out and make your acne even worse. Limit your steaming to once every week, or every other week, depending on your skin type.

A facial steamer is relatively inexpensive, especially considering the price of a facial spa treatment. Most professional spa treatments begin with facial steaming. The warm steam to your skin is used to open up your pores, clean out the dirt and grime from deep within the crevices and pores, and release oils from your skin. The warm steam enables the face to absorb the warm moisture so that it can clean from deep within the pores. Opening up your pores also softens blackheads, making them easier to remove. It promotes circulation. The combination of warm steam and an increase in perspiration dilates your blood vessels and increases circulation.
Gently exfoliate the skin with a gentle scrub in small circular motions. Steam: After the cleansing process, steaming the skin will cause the skin to soften and allow for pores to more readily open. Many people ask if it is safe to exfoliate after steaming the face. I recommend an organic exfoliate choice like the homemade exfoliate I wrote about in my blog. Click here to learn more:

Step 1: Place the unit on a flat surface near a power outlet.

Step 2: Fill up the water tank and start the unit.

Step 3: Cleanse then exfoliate cleanse your face before steaming. It is highly recommended to start the process with a clean face.

Step 4: Place your face at least 7-8 inches from the steamer. This will prevent any harm to your skin since the mist has a constant temperature of 104° F (40° C) – read the user manual for the exact distance.

Step 5: Use a dry towel to blot your face during the steaming.

Step 6: On average, your session should last about 10 minutes but that depends from person to person. Some people like spending more time in steam.

Step 7: Let the unit cool down for 10 minutes before storing.

Step 8: Exfoliate/cleanse again now that you’re done.

Step 9: Splash your face with cold water. Personally, I like to take a wet washcloth and place it in a baggy in the refrigerator to get cold. Then, I lay the washcloth over my face for at least 2-5 minutes. This helps reassure the pores to close evenly.

Step 10: There are great of the benefits of steaming your face. Skincare does not stop there though. It is crucial for you to use a moisturizing mask or a serum or your usual acne treatments, the opened pores will absorb the creams and lotions better, increasing their efficiency.

Considering the price of a spa with the time it takes to have it done, I enjoy sticking with the at home facial spa treatments. Like most spa services, facials prices are based on the specific treatments used. Depending on the treatment you are wanting to be done along with where you are going it can get costly. A facial that includes microdermabrasion or a special chemical peel, for example, will cost more than a basic facial, which typically averages around $75. At $75 for facial steam that needs to be done at least once a week that cost can add up.
Steam inhalation is easy to do at home and promotes whole-body relaxation. A facial steamer can provide a calming, spa experience in the comfort of your own home. A streaming session can use water alone, or it can be combined with essential oils for aromatherapy, or other topical products if you want to also get an exfoliation. Benefits of a face steamer also clear the congestion. Using steam to open the passages in the nose can help to relieve sinus pressure.
Regularly applying warm steam to the face is a truly beneficial beauty regimen every woman should do. The cost of a facial steamer is a reasonable cost compared to actual spa treatment costs. Facial steaming treatments on a regular basis will keep moisture balanced in the skin, reduce wrinkles and leave the skin radiant and glowing.
