An Indigenous Tribe Living in Today's Modern World

Scattered throughout the Great Lakes Region of the United States the Ojibwe, a Northern American tribe is located. The Ojibwe, Ojibwa, Chippewa, or Saulteaux are an Anishinaabe people of Canada and the United States. The Ojibwe tribal name is spelled in a number of names and spellings ranging from the now more accepted 'Ojibwe' to Ojibwa, Ojibway, and the Chippewa. Ojibwe speaks in the Algonquin tongue, although this language is quickly vanishing from use as the culture gets diluted by modern English.

A tribe living in today's modern world with the ability to still embrace their primitive ways of living, survival, and cultural traditions with the importance to educate others about their existence and ways of living.

Ayasha is of the Ojibwe tribe. Through modern fashion and design, Ayasha will educate you on elements of her traditional ways. You will be able to embrace the Ojibwe cultural ways through the Ayasha blog. Ayasha will also communicate with you through her blog and email. She encourages you to ask questions if you would like to know anything. While Ayasha enjoys educating others of her tribe (Ojibwe tribe), she also appreciates informing others of the entire Native American Nation and tribes.
This Indigenous blog will take you back in time to the first trade of embroidered floral motifs between the Ojibwe and the Europeans, the harvesting and trade of furs, wild rice harvestings, woodlands medicines and much more.
